New Mexico and Arizona Brain Injury Lawyers

At the Brain Injury Law Center of New Mexico, our aim is to provide a unique level of expertise. During the last twenty years there has been a revolution in understanding of the brain and brain injury. New technologies, with more coming regularly, new diagnostic techniques, and a much more sophisticated knowledge of brain structure and function make this an important time for brain-injured persons as well as an exciting time in neuroscience.

Brain injury is understood more thoroughly and intimately than ever, from the gross workings of the nervous system to the brain’s operation at a molecular level. The effects of brain injury, both short-term and long-term, are known more thoroughly than ever. The relationship of brain injury to other maladies, such as Alzheimer and Parkinson’s diseases, is more clearly delineated. Proof of organic brain injuries that were once thought to be figments of deranged minds, or were judged to be the product of evil intentions, or were faked by persons seeking some secondary benefit, has now been established beyond reasonable dispute. New treatments and new methods of rehabilitation are now in use, with new developments taking place that hold out great hope for lessening the scourge of brain injury.

We are excited and gratified to be practicing law in this area, both in a geographical sense and in the sense that the law of brain injury, sometimes called neurolaw, is now a becoming a more specialized field of practice. Although our main offices are in Albuquerque, we practice up and down the Rio Grande Valley, the entire length of New Mexico, and east and west into adjoining areas. We have a particularly strong practice among the Native American tribes, reaching from the west end of the Navajo Indian Reservation east to the Pueblos of the Rio Grande.

We invite you to explore this site and learn more about the brain and brain injury — perhaps we can answer your questions. If you or a loved one has experienced a brain injury caused by someone else, we hope you will consider contacting us to discuss how we may be able to hold the individuals, businesses, or governments at fault responsible. We provide candid advice and counsel in a supportive environment.
